Change URL for Xymon mail alert report from http:// to https://

Hello

I tried search the internet  and looked on wiki xymon for how to change the mail alert url from http// to https:// format in xymon
But I haven't found anything for in which file this is controlled and can be change
Any help appreciated

Hi !

Usually you have only to change the apache-config to use ssl
and in xymonserver.cfg

XYMONWEBHOST="https://$XYMONSERVERWWWNAME";

Hi Jesper,

this should be done on the server in xymonserver.cfg.
The variable name is XYMONWEBHOST and there you can change http:// to https://.
But be aware that this changes it for the web pages also not only for the
alerts.
