TAP sendsms script
list Michael A. Price
Hello,
I finally got a lan-line hooked up and working on my hobbit server. Thanks for everyones help with that.
I am trying to configure SMS alerts using the TAP protocol.
The hobbit help documents refer to /usr/local/bin/smsalert as the program to use to send the alert via a modem.
what software or scripts can I use to dial out using the TAP protocol and send a SMS message to a cell phone...
I need someone to point me in the right direction ;-)
thanks, michael

I use "qpage" and it works great! You just have to get the TAP phone number from your pager service provider. www.qpage.org <http://www.qpage.org/>; Jim Smith
