Oracle Enterprise Linux is expected to run everything RedHat Enterprise Linux will. It is reasonable to assume Xymon server and client will compile and run correctly on all of those you list below. -- Do things because you should, not just because you can. Oracle did the exact same thing to RHEL as CentOS did - grabbed the source, rebranded it by changing strings from "Redhat" to "Oracle", added a few proprietary bits (ksplice, etc) and built all the RPMs. It is essentially the exact same product. I dunno why a RHEL RPM wouldn't install, but you can certainly build from source following RHEL instructions.
