Hello,
I added this line to hobbit config by accident (a 'vim' accident ;-):

10.12.30.2929292929292929292929292929292929292929292929292929292929
metroli-be7 #

And all network test become purple. It seems than xymonping stop working
with bad formatted IPs:

/usr/lib/xymon/server/bin/xymonping --debug --timeout=4 10.0.0.258

¿Anybody know how to fix it?

Thanks,

A very quick fix is to simply discard such hosts when loading the
hosts.cfg file. Patch attached, should work against any 4.3.x version.

thank you for the patch but it didn't fix the problem. If it helps, the
output from xymongen is:

2011-04-18 13:22:28 Confused - hostname
'9292929292929292929292929292929292929292929292929292929' cannot be
found. Ignored

If you need any output or I could help in any way, please tell mi so.

Thanks,

I just tried last xymon version 4.3.2 with your patch and it worked great.
Thanks for your work Henrik.

Is there going to be a page up on the main xymon website with links to all of these patches that are getting created for 4.3.3, or do we have to wait till 4.3.4? Like we used to have an "all-in-one" patch?
