The check for bbtest-net after the "noconn" tag on the second line for host foo.bar.blablub.de is wrong: remove the http test. (see bb-hosts man page for further details) Dominique UNIL - University of Lausanne

The problem is that you have the same host listed twice, with network tests in both locations. They are even different - the first one tells Hobbit to do a "ping" test, the other one says "dont do a ping test" (noconn). So which one should Hobbit use ? It cannot tell, and therefore it warns you about it. Put ALL of your definitions on one of the host entries, and have all of the others listed as 0.0.0.0 foo.bar.de # noconn Henrik

Hi all, I am trying to set up the critical systems for our hobbit installation but I cannot update the records, a previous user made 3 test ones but I can't alter or drop them, though it does update the record when I do so the next time I go to the same record it reverts back to the original version, does anyone know where they are stored so I can delete them on the server itself? Thanks, Jason.

Found it, just for you people searching archives it's $BBHOME/etc/hobbit-nkview.cfg Jason.

Subject: [hobbit] Critical systems not updating
Hi all,
I am trying to set up the critical systems for our hobbit installation
but I cannot update the records, a previous user made 3 test ones but I
can't alter or drop them, though it does update the record when I do so
the next time I go to the same record it reverts back to the original
version, does anyone know where they are stored so I can delete them on
the server itself?
Thanks,
Jason.
