Need a support for Xymon setup on Ubuntu 14.04 server

What you want is hosts.cfg
https://www.xymon.com/help/manpages/man5/hosts.cfg.5.html
http://xymon.org/xymon-cgi/viewconf.sh

An example would be:
1.1.1.1 www.engstage.com # http://www.enstage.com
1.1.2.2 ftp.engstage.com # ftp

This will check the first server (www) to make sure the web server is
running and such.  The second server it will verify it can get a response
from an FTP server.  Both servers will be pinged and in this example, use
DNS to resolve the names.
