I find it quite funny on the nagios homepage it says get it up and
running in 15minutes...
Try 5minutes for hobbit, at most...

In my opinion, no competition at all!
Looking at Nagio's propaganda, "no competition" is overstatement to
hobbit.

I've just taken on a new job where they use Nagios for monitoring.
I've
never used nagios before so it's a pretty steep learning curve.
The setup is basic and it's may job to flesh it out and provide some
detail - graphs, reports etc.
Every time I have to add a new monitor or get asked to graph
something,
I keep thinking 'This would be so much easier with hobbit!'
