"conn" column showing white color

"conn" column showing white color. I am unable to make it green. If i
click on "conn" column following message is displaying:

*Mon Apr 4 18:41:13 2011 conn ok : System failure of the ping test*

Check the logfile for your xymonnet (bbtest-net in older versions) task.

A guess would be that your ping-tool (xymonping/hobbitping or fping) 
does is installed without suid-root permissions.
