For completeness, here is the BBWin portion of my setup notes:
Install BBWin:
msiexec /i BBWin_0.12.msi /passive /log bbwin-install.log
reg add HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\BBWin /v "hostname" /d
"%COMPUTERNAME%.dept.domain.tld" /f
then copy/create an appropriate bbwin.cfg, any external scripts, etc
net start BBWin
Cheers.

Say what? I have BBWin 0.12 working on several Windows Server 2008
Enterprise x64 machines, both Full and Server Core.
Cheers.

Except 64-bit doesn't work, it installs except the reg keys, and even if
you manually create the reg keys to get the hostname, it will not use them.
So if you have a host with FQDN reporting in. It doesn't work.
This is the same for Win 2003 64-bit though. You need to use the old free
bigbrother client for that BBNT.

I can attest to this..as long as you install it with administrator privs in
server 2008 it works great.

There is none. But there is bbwin:

This is compatible with Hobbit/Xymon and BigBrother.
