So do you mean you want to monitor SQL server (assuming Microsoft SQL
Server) from hobbit, or store hobbit's data in an SQL server?

If it's the first you might want to take a look at the dbcheck script in
the following package http://sourceforge.net/projects/hobbit-perl-cl, it
works quite nicely but requires FreeTDS to be installed on the Linux/Unix
box hobbit is running on to do enable it to connect to SQL Server directly.

For the latter you would have to write your own code to store hobbit's data
in SQL.
