thanks, it confirms what I learnt from the code.

I'm writing a small extension to collect the processor, user and privileged stats  as well, since global cpu is not enough to understand what's going on. It won't be an easy task for me to incorporate it into the client, so I choose to do that as extension. I had an arranged marriages forced on me with windows a couple of months ago, and my powershell skills are that old.

I kind of see what you’re saying – the graph label is ‘load average’ and although is a percentage, on the graph it’s shown as a value between 0.0 and 1.0 (i.e. divided by 100).

The actual data is not a load average in the Linux sense (where load can exceed the number of CPUs) – it is a CPU usage percentage taken at the sample time. It’s just the labelling that is off and I believe this is a consequence of code reuse on the server side. I think you’d get the same result with BBWin, i.e. the code has been around unchanged for years.

Hi

Out of the box it does not. It shows load average for both column and trends, using the [la] rrd. Will have to dive into the script to see what it is actually reported.

cheers

Ron

Mine shows the CPU graph in both the CPU column and the Trends section.

Hi

it shows load average under the cpu column, and  there's no CPU utilisation in the trends.

cheers

The 'XymonPSClient' does what you're asking by default.

Hi

I'm sure it is not the first time this issue was raised. How to get the CPU percentage utilisation graph with powershell client?

Did some search, and could only find very old posts related to the bbclient, but nothing newer. help, please?

Ron
