Peter -

1. that files data looks correct
2. Because I want it to show up under it's own column I have the
following:
xxx.xx.xxx.xx	vuglzon04
#zonestat:zonestatcpu|zonestatmem|zonestatnproc|zonestatsize

Subject: Re: [hobbit] zonestat.sh

1 ) Check the contents of the hobbit_zonestat.hostname.pid-file

It should contain data like:

PID USERNAME SIZE RSS STATE PRI NICE TIME CPU PROCESS/NLWP
  8764 hobbit 3760K 2600K cpu0 44 0 0:00:00 0.3% metastat/1
ZONEID NPROC SWAP RSS MEMORY TIME CPU ZONE
     0 48 61M 72M 1.7% 7:10:57 1.1% global
     1 46 70M 59M 1.4% 0:20:47 0.0% bigbrother
Total: 94 processes, 304 lwps, load averages: 0.02, 0.03, 0.04

2) Are you sure the host has a valid representation within Hobbit? I
mean: the host vuglzn04 has a valid entry in you bb-host file where
the line should contain the extra's:

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx vuglzn04 #
"TRENDS:*,zonestat:zonestatcpu|zonestatmem|zonestatnproc|zonestatsize"

If you have done the above, it only shows in the trends column; nowhere
else.

Can't get anything to show up on the server side.

I have looked on the client side and it appears to be running. There
are
files in /opt/hobbit/tmp with the name of

hobbit_zonestat.vuglzn04.(pid#)

Nothing in the client logs showing any error.

On the server side there is no data in
/apps/xymon/data/rrd/(servername).
Nothing in the logs. The hobbit_rrd appears to be running.
