What I'm asking is did you copy the Hobbit supplied "Apache configuration"
on top of httpd.conf? The httpd.conf will have a lot more options
configured then what Hobbit created. You should have tacked the Hobbit
configuration for Apache within the currently existing httpd.conf.

If you have already done this you need to restore your Apache
configuration. Worst case, reinstall it.

Is that all of your httpd.conf that you posted up there? There needs to
be a hell of a lot more then that for Apache to work!!!

Probably not in the sense that you're thinking, but yes.

If you click on the links does it have you download the *sh files? If
so you skipped the last part of the install! I'm assuming you're using
Apache as you're web server as it is Solaris. Find your httpd.conf and
you'll need to refer to the Hobbit made ~hobbit/server/etc/hobbit-
apache.conf

Once you put the configuration in try an apachectl configtest and if
that returns Syntax OK then go ahead and apachectl graceful (those commands
may differ for you, they did work on my 5.8 Solaris box many years
ago...).

Afterward click on the links and see the wonders of Hobbit!

 Erm...when you say these

"i can see the file on the gui right now.but cann not view the
contents of the file.if i click it is saying that
unknown filetype(opens small window).can anyone help me on this"

or "if i click any of the files to view it is popping up new window
..."

Are you referring to something like JDM or X? Or are you referring to
using a browser like IE or Firefox?
