Try removing the qoutes around the colors, i.e.
CMD hobbitd --pidfile=$BBSERVERLOGS/hobbitd.pid
--restart=$BBTMP/hobbitd.chk --checkpoint-file=$BBTMP/hobbitd.chk
--checkpoint-interval=600 --log=$BBSERVERLOGS/hobbitd.log
--alertcolors=red --okcolors=green,blue
--admin-senders=127.0.0.1,
and for the hobbitd_alert module, the colors are parameters to the
hobbitd_alert program, not hobbitd_channel so that should be
CMD hobbitd_channel --channel=page --log=$BBSERVERLOGS/page.log
hobbitd_alert --alertcolors=red
