Question on Xymon installation on Ubuntu with apache2

Now I do. The dim bulb in my head came on while staring at the error
message. Then had to figure out how to enable it. The old way would have
been to uncomment it. Now it is a link.

By far, the easiest option is to install from a package. Generally this
will automatically configure a working system for you, and all you will
need to do is modify various config files. You may not be able to find the
latest version already packaged, but I would still suggest to use a
packaged version initially. Later, when you better understand how it works,
you should be able to download the latest version, and update to that.
