Given the two options I'd stick to one that is running. Though I'd start
evaluation on the alfa release.

Thanks for the inputs. Very much appreciated.

Would it be safe for me to just compile the alpha version and combine the
binaries, just to get the "Disable until OK" feature? If it is safe, which
binaries/files should I get from the alpha to copy over to the current
4.1.2p1.

If not, is there a patch file availabe for me to patch to the 4.1.2p1 to
make the feature available?
I wouldn't recommend mixing versions like that. Although I try to keep
the inter-dependencies between modules in Hobbit at a minimum, there is
a lot of potential problems with using different versions in a single
setup.

Either use the latest "bleeding-edge" code (snapshot or the alfa-release)
- this will also help testing to get the final release out sooner - or
stay on the stable version if you must have something that keeps running.
