I made the change to the config file /etc/rc.config.d/hobbit-client on the
client MACHINEDOTS="dione". I then restarted the client and I can now see
all the metrics (cpu, disk etc...).

just check that the "uname -n" matches the ame you defined in bb-hosts, ie

dione.namerica.idexxi.com

otherwise, just replace this line 
MACHINEDOTS="`uname -n`"  
with 
MACHINEDOTS="dione.namerica.idexxi.com"  

check also in the hobbit data dir if you have files that have "dione" in the
filename.

Hi,

How did you start hobbit-client, did you user init script also make
sure that you comment out hostname  and os name in
/etc/default/hobbit-client then restart using init script
