Erm...when you say these

"i can see the  file on the gui right now.but    cann not view the contents
of the file.if i click it is saying that unknown    filetype(opens small
window).can anyone help me on this"

or "if i click any of  the files to view it is popping up new window ..."

Are you referring to something like JDM or X?  Or are you referring to using
a browser like IE or Firefox?
