I can verify that it works for FF 3.0.11 on Fedora 10 linux. Haven't tried others yet. I applied the patch this morning and haven't run into any problems yet, but that doesn't mean that there aren't any out there.

I can confirm this fix on Firefox 3.5 for Linux, Mac OS X, and Safari. Not sure about any other platforms.
I made a quick patch for this in case others on the list want to apply it.
