Hi Henrik,
that was it.
SSL support wasn't compiled in.
But while running configure with --sslinclude and --ssllib I encountered
another error.
When running configure --help it says "--sslinclude DIRECTORY"
but as parameter you took --sslinc.
I don't know if this has already been fixed in v4.0.3 but I wanted to
let you know.
Regards
Torsten

I've set up a hobbit server 4.0.2 on a Debian system.
Now I want to check if the web server is up and running.
So I added http://servername and https://servername to the

page for https.
Did you compile Hobbit with SSL support ? Try this:
$ /usr/lib/hobbit/server/bin/bbtest-net --version
bbtest-net version 4.0.3rc2
SSL library : OpenSSL 0.9.7e 25 Oct 2004
LDAP library: OpenLDAP 20130
Compile settings: MAXMSG=32768, BBDPORTNUMBER=1984
If you don't see the "SSL library : ..." line, you compiled
it without SSL support.
We use a self created certificate for this site.
That shouldn't be a problem.
Henrik
