alerts won't stop

I'm still having trouble with Hobbit sending out "purple" alert messages for
a machine that was disabled weeks ago. I've removed all mention of the box
from the Hobbit configuration files and have even restarted Hobbit, although
I dislike doing so. Does anybody have any ideas on how to stop this? It's
beginning to annoy people.

Can't really say, the false alerts only come out one a day (had repeat set
to 1 day in hobbit-alerts).

server/etc/bb-hosts and try running **bb localhost "drop <servername>"**on your Hobbit server again (as the previous poster recommended).

Don't think that is it, the test that is getting reported as purple is
"conn".

I have removed some machines from hobbit, taken all mention of them from
the configuration files and issued the "drop" command using bb. I am still
getting notified of their "purple" status every day, and it has been several
weeks since I removed them from Hobbit. How can I stop these alerts from
being generated?
