log permissions..

Hi,

by default on my systems, /var/log/message is only readable by root,
the hobbit client (running under hobbit) reported msgs with a green status :
"Cannot open logfile /var/log/messages : Permission denied" even thow i have
"log inspection" defined in hobbit-client.cfg

could this be considered as a warning instead of a green status ?
whether there is no log inspection or not ??
