Debian hobbit-plugins misc test

Hi,
This is regarding  the hobbit-plugins (xymon-plugins) Debian package. I've been setting up the "misc" test to monitor for read-only filesystems. It's working flawlessly on Debian Jessie, but on Wheezy it doesn't report to the Xymon server. There are no errors, and the output is exactly the same if I execute it manually on both dists.
Has anyone used this script and got it to work on Wheezy?
