Recovering alerts have a status of red but have a RECOVERD env' variable
set to "1". Sounds like you need to check for this var too.

Subject: Re: [hobbit] External alert script.

The problem is that the BBCOLORLEVEL is still red when the script is run

again, and the BBALPHAMSG is giving service is green OK. A bit strange.

Maybe its my perl coding which is not ok.

Hi Thomas,

in most cases external scripts are running regularly and will send a new status with color=green once the error is recovered.

Hi !

I am writing an external alert script and the initial activatio is ok. But when the service is then recovered I have problems with the correct detection.

Looking at http://www.hswn.dk/hobbiton/2005/08/msg00282.html I see that various variables are set when calling the script, but I can not
match a RECOVERED string in BBALPHAMSG. Is this due to hobbit alert module identifiyeing the recovery by itself and not letting this on the the script ?
