I use CentOS, which is basically the same as Redhat. I've setup
several
Xymon servers and only ever copy hobbit-apache.conf into
/etc/httpd/conf.d
and never touch httpd.conf. The only other action I do that affects
Apache
web server is to set /home/xymon to 755.
