For the most part, the man page for bb-hosts.

As an example, here's the front of my bb-hosts file:

title <H3> Production Application Groups </H3>
page prd-r3 <H4><I>SAP/R-3</I></H4>
group-compress <H3><I>SAP/R-3</I></H3>
include hosts/whq-stuff/prd-r3
page prd-bi <H4><I>SAP/BI</I></H4>
group-compress <H3><I>SAP/BI</I></H3>
include hosts/whq-stuff/prd-bi
page prd-mail <H4><I>Mail</I></H4>
group-compress <H3><I>Mail</I></H3>
include hosts/whq-stuff/prd-mail
page prd-print <H4><I>Print Servers</I></H4>
group-compress <H3><I>Print Servers</I></H3>
include hosts/whq-stuff/prd-print

And a little further down . . .

title <H3> Hardware-Specific Groupings </H3>
page domain-controllers <H4><I>Domain Controllers</I></H4>
group-compress <H3><I>Domain Controllers</I></H3>
include hosts/whq-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/atl-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/bly-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/cha-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/cor-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/frn-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/gos-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/grn-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/lac-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/leb-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/mca-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/nac-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/rey-stuff/domaincontrol
include hosts/sdv-stuff/domaincontrol
page mrtg-routers <H4><I>Routers</I></H4>
group-compress <H3><I>Routers</I></H3>
include hosts/whq-stuff/routers
include hosts/atl-stuff/routers
include hosts/bly-stuff/routers

The H3 title lines show on the main page as headers for the selected groups; the H4 entries on the 'page' directives show on the main page, with the color dot for the sub-page group. The H3 directives on the group-compress lines show as the column heading for the host names on the sub-page.

HTH -

Tom

group will just create a separation of hosts on the same page. If you
want new pages you have to use the page directive. It's very well
written up in the doc.

This is one of the many group entries that I have but it does not split them up in to separate web pages..

group-compress <font size="+1">SERVER GROUP WEB</font>
server a
server b
etc....

Gavin,

Take a look at the page directive. It will put hosts under it on
separate web pages until the next page directive or the end of the
bb-hosts file.
