Hello - I'm using the big brother windows client with the hobbit server
and
was wondering if there was a way to specify separate mailing lists for
different windows disks? Example: windows systems group gets alerted
for C:
and D:, application owners get alerted for E:, F: or whatever drive
their
application software resides on. Currently the alerts are set up where
windows group gets alerted for every disk, even if it's something they
dont'
manage.
Unfortunately, this is not possible with the BB Windows client. It does
work with the Hobbit Unix client, but only because the disk data is then
analyzed on the Hobbit server. The BB Windows client just throws a
status message at the Hobbit server, and we cannot handle that further.
