I have setup the Hobbit client on an AIX box running o/s level 6.2
and everything is working except the CPU test. Even with a load on the
server, no load is reporting to Hobbit. Thus, no graphing is taken
place. The server has been up for 41 days, but still not registering
anything under cpu load. It shows the days up, number of users,
number or procs, but load remains at 0.00
Has anyone ever seen this problem? I haven’t been able to find any
other post that was remotely similar to my issue. The only thing
different about this particular AIX server than others is the O/S
level. Not sure if that’s part of the issue but it’s the only anomaly
in the whole equation.
Please, if you have any advice or suggestions, I’m open.

Hi,
Did you check the TOP path is correct ? In hobbitclient-aix.sh, "top" is
used with arguments "-b 20", can you manually try to run "top -b 20"
with the xymon user ?
