I still have the problem. One thing I observe is - if I remove the &nostale& from http://.... path , the graph is displayed Is there something I Need to do during Xymon setup or change in hobbitgraph.cfg file?

My guess is an Apache config problem.

BTW, if I remove the &nostale on the web browser I can see the graph

Put quotes around the URL.

Any idea what it means?

Can you open the page in a browser?
http://csbu-bldsrv-09/xymon-
cgi/hobbitgraph.sh?host=adburelbld-1&service=tcp:conn&graph_w
idth=57
6&graph_height=120&disp=adbu%2drelbld%2d1&nostale&col
or=gree
n&graph=hourly&action=view

This should be all on 1 line. This is the part after SRC= and it is
the url

for the image so you can copy it from the source of the html page.

If this is not showing anything in the browser, you can use the
command wget

on your xymon server to download the image on the command line.
'wget http://';
If the file is downloaded, you can do 'cat <file>' to see the content.

The problem is that when there is an error in generating the image,
some text is returned. This is very confusing for a browser, but
with wget you can download the text and take a look at it.
