Hobbit and bb-central

Dave,

Thanx for responding, i am running SPLAT R55 ;-( .  
I am assuming that R56 is very similar with the c libraries and locked 
down  compiler.

How did you install it??? With the RPM ?? If so, which one?
Or did you compile it on the local system? If so, how??

thanx so much, I am wanna run this software on all our systems and your 
help is greatly appreciated..

I've only taken a short look at devmon - can it be configured to use a
non
standard SNMP port?  The SecurePlatform SNMP runs on port 260 rather
than
the standard 161/162.

Do the appliances support SNMP monitoring?  If they do you could try
using Devmon instead of the client.....
