Go to hosts.cfg (or bb-hosts) and use DEPENDS and watch both alerts happen.

    Use ROUTE as I think DEPENDS is broken.

    1.1.1.1 gateway.foo.com <http://gateway.foo.com>; #
    0.0.0.0 realserver.com <http://realserver.com>; #
    route:gateway.foo.com <http://gateway.foo.com>;

    realserver.com <http://realserver.com>; will go yellow if
    gateway.foo.com <http://gateway.foo.com>; is red
