The one thing I see people forgetting about is that the bb-hosts file can
"include" other files.  So, in my employers instance, we get no notes at
all since all hosts are in the includefiles.

  

hmmm...I'll play around this weekend and see if I can get it to work with includes...never even crossed my mind when I was tweaking it,

I've made a couple of minor changes (using environment variables and strict) and, thanks to Henrik's foresight, it now works with includes.  Let me know if you have any problems.
