Xymon doesn't directly have a "full" mime-enabled HTML format (although it
would be a nice addition) that would more guarantee that a table in the
status comes out as intended. (Some mail clients will try to interpret any
HTML they see, which can result in a usable hybrid look, however.)

A number of folks have written various HTML-ish alerts usable via the
SCRIPT option instead of having xymon itself do the mailing.

Try having a look at: https://wiki.xymonton.org/doku.php/alerts

Thanks JC for your reply,
I had a look at the Format parameter but not sure if it accepts
"Format=html" or not. It just says TEXT or PLAIN... I need a html format
so
table is shown in the email...

Jasbir,

I think what you'll want to take a look at is the "FORMAT=" option on
recipient lines in the alerts.cfg file.

From https://xymon.com/help/manpages/man5/alerts.cfg.5.html

FORMAT=formatstring Format of the text message with the alert. Default is
"TEXT" (suitable for e-mail alerts). "PLAIN" is the same as text, but
without the URL link to the status webpage. "SMS" is a short message with
no
subject for SMS alerts. "SCRIPT" is a brief message template for scripts.

Hi,

I am getting email alerts from xymon and I think it is using the
default "TEXT" format. Is there any way to change this. Anyone having
a quick pointer.

This is how I receive the email. :(
