Hi Neil
That's NCV, and it works a treat. Been using it for years.
However, I am looking at the SPLITNCV feature.
It appears really cool on paper. I just need to make it work for me.
It will allow you to graph a previously unknown number of lines, by
putting them one per rrd file instead of all into a single rrd file.
You then generate the graphs using a wildcard in the rrd file
definition in hobbitgraph.cfg.
But like i mentioned, on the trends page it looks great.
On the test page, all the lines are on one graph. :-(
Cheers

SQLTPS = ncv
NCV_SQLTPS="Transactions:GAUGE"
This worked for me over several releases.

Subject: [hobbit] SPLITNCV
Hi all
Can anybody point me to some documentation about how to use SPLITNCV.
(Or perhaps you can answer my questions)
In the mailing list I have seen it as SPLITNCV, SPLIT_NCV and
SPLIT-NCV. Which is it? As in, what goes into hobbitserver.cfg?
What version of Xymon was it introduced? I can't seem to get it
working here, so I might need an upgrade, or was this feature only
ever delivered in a patch?
Regards
Vernon
