old glibc

Hello,
I use the Hobbit-Server 4.2 on FC5 Linux.
I also user the client-software on Windos- and Linux Operatingsystems.
Sometimes, We use old linux distributions with an old glibc (ver. 2.25).
Is there a way to install the hobbit client on those systems without
updating the
glibc? I checked it by google but I didn`t find any answers.
