Sorry no experience with using the rpms but how have you started this?
Is it:
service hobbit-client start?
Does the hobbit server note it's own status'? sorry it took a while
for
me to get back to you, busy day today.
Thanks,
Jason.

Hi Jason,
The package name is hobbit-client-4.1.2-1.i386.rpm and config file > is /etc/sysconfig/hobbit-client below is the contents of the file, > please let me know if I need a different package and also if I need > to reconfigure the client
# Configure the Hobbit client settings.

# It is good to use IP-adresses here instead of DNS # names - DNS > might not work if there's a problem.
#
# E.g. (a single Hobbit server)
# HOBBITSERVERS="192.168.1.1"
# or (multiple servers)
# HOBBITSERVERS="10.0.0.1 192.168.1.1"
HOBBITSERVERS="165.143.145.119"
# The defaults usually suffice for the rest of this file, # but you > can tweak the hostname that the client reports # data with, and the > OS name used (typically needed only on # RHEL or RHAS servers).
CLIENTHOSTNAME="cntrra20-rh-wiki.telkom.co.za"
CLIENTOS="rhel4"

^^ i.e. you don't specify cpu etc.
You have installed the hobbit client on these machines correctly
yes?

you
start them properly?
Thanks,
Jason.
