Would it not be sensible to remove it? I don't know if that can be done
or not (don't see why not though), that way we don't have to worry about
an odd version floating around. Maybe put a README in its place stating
that the patch was released incorrectly, or some such?

My personal e-mail address is well known, and dropping me a

more place where some random version of Hobbit can be found.

All I'm asking for is that all of you *think* about what you
do.
If you're frustrated about the next release not arriving, do
something to move it forward - i.e. grab the current
source-trunk
from the Subversion archive, use it and send bug reports. Or
patches. Or write docs.
I am not frustrated of "next realease not coming". I was hoping
to answer the question of why not putting all-in-one patche into
a source tree
to relieve the patching headaches.
