Dear Henrik,
thank you!
bbcmd trimhistory --cutoff=`/opt/sfw/bin/gdate +%s --date="1 Jan 2007"`
2008-12-02 10:01:02 Using default environment file /pica/ffm/com/sys/hobbit/client/etc/hobbitclient.cfg
2008-12-02 10:01:02 Cannot cd to history directory: No such file or directory
That didn't work. But I found in the sources that it is $BBHIST what is missing. So . ../etc/hobbitserver.cfg did the job. Don't know why the hobbit user didn't read this file.
kind regards
Rolf

I want to use trimhistory (Solaris 9, hobbit-4.2.0) and have an error:
trimhistory --cutoff=`/opt/sfw/bin/gdate +%s --date="1 Jan 2007"`
2008-11-26 09:19:49 Cannot cd to history directory: No such file or directory
Run it via "bbcmd" to make sure it has all the Hobbit environment
setup. I.e.
bbcmd trimhistory --cutoff=.....

Henrik
