Does someone know, if there is already an external module for
monitoring the s.m.a.r.t status of hard disks?
I think, it would be helpful to avoid disk crashes of a server.
I already use the smartmontools to check the smart status of the disks
in our linux servers.
But it would be fun to see and get alerts in Xymon, if the status of a
disk is going to be bad ?!
What do you think about it?
