Hi Jan,

As Frank advise you, you should check that the hostname is configured
(it should be not empty) in the
registry.(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/BBWin=hostname)
Also, you may check the application event log, if BBWin can't start,
you should find error events in it with the reasons of failure.

Let us know if you still can't start BBWin.

Regards,

Etienne.

Hello Etienne

I have installed the new Hobbitclient on a 2003 server, but I can't get it to run - the service stops by it self. I can see, that the operating system doesn't include Win2003, but...?

Regards, Jan

Hi Franck,

...and in the configuration file (to override either/both)?
Of course. Configuration file will be able to override the registry
setting and will handle environments variables.

Regards,

Etienne.
