Disable a host alert, still getting text messages

We had a host drop offline due to a bad power supply and started getting
text alerts.  We new it would be a few hours until we could mess with
it, so we disabled alerting using the enable/disbale feature for all
tests.  The host shows up blue, but we are still getting text pages for
the conn test on this host.  Is this a bug or known issue?
