From the RELEASENOTES:

  BBGHOSTS setting removed
  Setting BBGHOSTS in the xymonserver.cfg file no longer has any
  effect. Instead, you must use the "--ghosts" option for hobbitd.
  The default ghost handling has also been changed from "ignore"
  to "log".
