Hobbit snapshot doesn't compile

4.2.0 does compile on Ubuntu 8.04, I just tried it. If it doesn't work
for you, then you're probably missing some of the prerequisite libraries
and/or developer packages (librrd-dev, libpcre3-dev, libssl-dev,
libldap2-dev).
