I found a fix. I added the following line to hobbitserver.cfg and now
all my graphs have nice labels and axis and titles and such.
RRD_DEFAULT_FONT="/usr/lib/X11/fonts/ms.st/typefaces/arial.ttf"
Apparently rrdtool could not find whatever default font it was
defaulting to.

Hello Hobbits, I have Hobbit server 4.2.0 running and generating graphs.
The graphs show data but have no text. Not axis or labels or any text. I
upgraded my rrdtool to 1.2.23 but have the same result. As a test I
generated a graph "manually" :-) using rrdtool and the text shows up
fine.
I am scratching my head on this one.
