Except that it does. I promise. We have twenty-ish Hobbit clients that report to BB servers.
I think I know why: You're running the client in "local" mode,
with all of the configuration stored on the client. Then the client will
report to a BB server using the old "status" protocol.
I never use it and had forgotten about it.
