drop msgs on windows clients?

Hello,

I'm trying to remove the msgs check on the windoze BB 1.08d clients.  I've ran the "drop <hostname> msgs" command from the host and it doesn't appear to do the trick.  I've done this in the past with custom checks I've added, and it has worked fine.  I noticed the NOCOLUMNS flag you can add to bb-hosts for *nix hosts, but unfortunately in this case, it's only the windows servers I care about. 
Any help?
