As Lars point out the "free" C compile will not work.
I DO have the commercial version.

AND starting out using gcc and then switching back to cc (it fails on
rpc stuff with gcc) and switch back again
when it fails ob larrd . That what I had do last time!

I think I broke a makefile file hacking , hence the clean issue; ok now!
