hobbit browser issue

I am working on my intial install of Hobbit and have run into a strange
issue. Upon completing the intial setup when I enter my hobbit URL into IE6
it returns only a page not found message. If I use my Firefox browser with
the same URL I can actually view the default page successfully. Anyone point
me in the right direction. I am running the i386 Debian sarge distribution.
