Found my problem... was having a moment... In the Hosts.cfg file I had used Fake Names for the systems and it was trying to use DNS to resolve them...

adding testip fixed the problem....

What is the proper way of not Using the hostname? So that it shows a custom name of the webpage instead of the actual hostname?

Add a testip to the line in hosts.cfg to remove DNS from the picture. If it stays green, you know where the problem is.

Keep getting systems in the red... On the status page it even shows an IP address that is not used on my network???

here is a copy of the page...

any Ideas?

The 198.105 address is not even part of my network... I use all 192.168.1.* address and that is not the address of the device being monitored either!
