TS - Can you update the Reason while DISABLED?

Is it possible to update the 'Reason:' information of a device while it
is currently disabled?

This way the information can be kept more current:

                Like:  Waiting for part from Dell

                           Part installed and server being tested - due
to back online 2/23/2011
